What is collagen and why is it important?

Collagen is one of the body’s principal structural proteins and a fundamental component of connective tissues. It forms part of the natural structure of the skin, bones, tendons and cartilage, helping to provide strength, elasticity and resilience.

Recommended use

Mix one 12 g serving with water to taste, adding the water gradually while stirring continuously. A shaker may also be used. Consume as part of a varied, balanced diet.

Preparation tips

• Add the liquid gradually while stirring to minimise clumping.
• Cold water generally provides a fresher taste, although very cold water may increase the dissolving time.
• A shaker with a mixing grid can help the powder dissolve evenly. Mild foaming may occur and will subside.
• Keep the measuring scoop completely dry and reseal the pouch after every use.

Hydrolysed collagen extract (bovine origin), glucosamine sulphate, acidity regulator (citric acid), flavourings, methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), L-ascorbic acid, anti-caking agent (tricalcium phosphate), sodium hyaluronate, chondroitin sulphate, turmeric (Curcuma longa) root extract, devil’s claw (Harpagophytum procumbens) root extract, hydrolysed collagen extract (chicken origin), sweeteners (steviol glycosides, sucralose), salt.

Country of origin of the primary ingredient: Argentina. Food-grade collagen suitable for human consumption.
